Touch A Life Missions, Inc.

'Transforming the World One Life at a Time'

How Our Program Works

At Touch a Life Missions, we offer the opportunity for our residents to safely experience the transition from higher levels of care to re-entry in the community by participating in a controlled living environment. This home is traditionally supervised by a House Manager who ensures the Transitional Living Environment offers structure and strong peer support.  This program requires the resident be employed or actively seeking employment.

Some special needs we are available to assist with include:

  • Referral to a vast network of community resources
  • Group and Individual Counseling
  • On-going Recovery planning
  • Extensive drug and alcohol education and relapse prevention counseling

Touch A Life Missions offers Transitional Living programs in Cobb County, Georgia.

Residents agree to random urinalysis as part of participation. We are also able to accommodate testing for court referrals, employers, probation, and other agencies as needed.

While in Transitional care, residents are expected to work.  Touch A Life Missions staff understands the difficulties of transitioning from addiction recovery to mainstream, and are prepared to help any resident with a job search.  In addition to work, residents are required to attend at least five 12-step meetings each week, random drug/alcohol testing, and to continue meeting with their Sponser.  The goal of the Transitional Living Program is to make transitioning back into the mainstream of society easy and safe.  Our goal is to help each resident maintain their sobriety while slowly adding more activities to their lives.  We are here to help everyone in every stage of recovery and we will always do our best to help each individual person on the road to long-term recovery.

Our faith based outreach serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow man, and serve as a guiding light. Alcohol and Drug Addiction are a result of character defects that need to be addressed in order to recover.
